PhotoWall is a Swedish wall decor company that specializes in decorative wall prints. Prints such as wallpapers and murals, canvas prints, framed prints and posters. I have been deep into making our house a home lately and apart from just scents and cleaning, but so far, our only wall decor is from family photos. So when Photowall reached out, I was excited about adding art to our walls. I was (maybe) tempted to get one of our own photos printed on a canvas, but I pushed myself a little to do something different. So I added our first piece of photo art to the wall of our home.
I love scenery imaging and nature. So after browsing the website I decided on an image from the Nature theme I settled on a serene open view of a lake and rocky mountains covered with fall leaves. The name of the image is Fall at Killarney Lake I was born and raised in Jamaica, where seasons aren’t very distinguishable (Except for during the summer-time when the heat goes as high as the mid-30s).
That said, I have a fondness in my heart for fall, and I think, if I did live in a country where the seasons do change distinctly, Fall would be my favourite.

Ordering the PhotoWall Canvas Print
The ordering process is a very simple process. The website is user friendly; clear and easy to navigate. You will be prompted to put in your geographic location. From there you can choose the type of wall decor piece you are interested in and begin scrolling through literally thousands of high-quality images which are narrowed into a few dozens of themes. Once you’ve made your selection, you will be required to adjust the size of the canvas you want. I ordered the 100×70 inches image.
The canvas needs a frame to mount your canvas. It needs to be added separately as a DIY Frame Kit of the same size to your canvas selection.
Delivery & Assembly
The package arrived through an international courier and was delivered to my home address in Jamaica from Sweden about seven days after the order was completed. You can pay for your order by Visa or MasterCard credit cards as well as PayPal.
I was very excited to receive the package as this is the first pice of image in our apartment that is not just another photos.

Final Thoughts
I’ve been experimenting with picture frames, however, our apartment is a rental. So you can imagine there isn’t too much we can do to the walls, although I have a few decals around. Larger frames tend to be heavy or look cheap, and that is not my MO. Canvas prints, however, solve more than one of those problems for me, and I hadn’t even thought about it.
Not only is the canvas an absolutely beautiful decor piece, but it is also a lighter piece. I was able to hang it hung with no problem where larger frames wouldn’t.

The quality of the canvas is great. The image is vivid and canvas as the quality is excellent and it was so easy to assemble, I could have done it. (I didn’t. What are husbands for?). I love the wrap-around portion of the canvas.
I love that you can customize the Photowall Canvas Print to the size of your space. It accentuates the empty space very nicely; taking away the plain look of the naked wall and makes it much warmer and more inviting. Next time around, I am definitely getting a family portrait canvases (Okay, so I cant’ help myself! Gimme a break!).

2 years agoI love it, need one. Just had this problem when setting up my work desk. Look at that, was trying to find what would be easy to hang and frame a blank wall space. This is now definitely an option.
