My Christmas Wishlist

I’ve never had a Christmas wishlist before. As a matter of fact, I’ve never made any gift wishlist before. Even after ten years together, my husband just might think this blog post is a gift to him in itself. It’s certainly a leap from the forever “I don’t know” he gets when trying to figure our birthday, anniversary and Christmas gifts. You know, that complete blank you get when someone asks what you want for gifts? No? Just me? Ok.

Anyway, I’ve decided to put all the tangible things I fancy down on paper. Or two better, a blog post and an actual wishlist on Amazon.

I try my best to live a life of gratitude, so I am always conscious of my wants being just that.; wants. My real blessings in this life are intangible. Still, I am a Leo. Born and bred. I have excellent tastes and deserve nice things.

Books

An ebook/digital book is great. But for me, there is nothing like folding up in bed (or a corner) with a good old-fashioned paperback. Hardcovers are great too, but paperbacks have a unique piece of my soul. Plus, there are some books that, even if you read them digitally because you couldn’t wait, owning them in paperback for your personal library? That’s top-tier stuff. One thing you don’t get to take with you (Or rather I didn’t) when you move to a new country is your books. So, my personal library is starting from scratch. I need it not to be a total of copies of CP Stylebook and Caps and Spelling guides for much longer, thank you.
