My Holiday Playlist Collections

For me, Christmas is never Christmas without my holiday playlist. I’m not even kidding. For me, joyful holiday music does something for the soul, and that something tends to be amplified when I am with my family. So I like my holiday playlist, loud, as background music while I clean, decorate or relax. I feel like it helps me catch the spirit, especially being that it can sometimes be a little elusive as an adult. Catching the Christmas wave as a child definitely had a lot to do with innocence.

Plus, I’m not even gonna lie, you can catch me driving alone on a random day in any month of the year belting out my absolute favourite Mariah Carey Christmas tune, All I Want for Christmas is You. Please know, I will stare you dead in the face with zero shame while I do this.

Fun Fact: Did you know that Mariah Carey recorded All I Want for Christmas is You in 1994 and the song generates an estimated $600,000 in royalties for the songwriter Walter Afanasieff and Mariah every December?
